According to the data from Lazzara Yachts, in terms of volume, the new model can compete with far larger vessels: the UHV 100’s internal volume is 225 GT, where about 260 sq.m are interior spaces, and 125 sq.m are usable exterior spaces
The UHV 100 continues the traditions started by her predecessor, the UHV 87, which made her successful debut in 2022. Both yachts stand out for voluminous hulls with recognizable architecture that creates the illusion of an extra deck. These features are reflected in the name of the series: the UHV stands for Ultra High Volume.
Both the exterior and interior design of the series were developed in-house, by American Lazzara Yachts. The hulls are made of aerospace-grade composite materials selected for their strength-to-weight performance. With a length of 30.5 m, a beam of 7.2 m and a draft of 1.6 m, the UHV 100 has a displacement of 143 tonnes at half load.
One of the most noticeable highlights of the new model is her large trapezoidal jacuzzi pool on the foredeck. It is surrounded by transformable sofas, allowing one to arrange a sunbathing area or a coffee lounge. There is a helm station and an upper saloon amidships, while the open aft terrace is home to sunpads and sofas, as well as an oval dining table sheltered from the sun by a hardtop.
There is a cosy lounge in the cockpit, too. Two symmetrical stairs lead down to the beach lounge with a bar located behind the transom and a surprisingly generous swimming platform, where one can put more sunpads or store a jet ski.
The main deck is home to the main saloon and the owner’s suite, taking part the entire bow section. Four guest cabins are located below deck. There are quarters for a crew of five and services rooms aft.
The interior finishes are based on the contrast of “chocolate and milk” represented by dark woods and light textiles. Among the visual accents there are chrome details, art objects and pops of blue accessories.
The yacht is powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 engines ranging from 800 to 1,000 hp and capable of delivering a provisional top speed of 16 knots. At a cruising speed of 8 knots the yacht’s range is 1,100 nautical miles.
“With the UHV 100, our mission was to push beyond conventional limits – not only in volume but also in how a yacht is built and engineered," said David Galante, executive vice president of Lazzara Yachts. “From aerospace-grade materials to full system redundancy, this yacht is designed to deliver unmatched reliability, safety and comfort”.
