According to the shipyard, the new cruiser does not only extend the Itama range, but brings it back to the segment of open 50-59 ft cruiser runabouts “offering next-level freedom both on board and at sea”
The length of the boat is 16.44 m, the beam is 4.73 m. The model was designed by Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Group’s Engineering Department. The interior design and exterior styling are by Tommaso De Luca.
The Itama 54 embodies Italian style and functional innovations. The side windows, for the first time running the entire length of the cockpit, as well as the raked transom, add dynamics to the boat. Access to the bow is located on the starboard side, which makes it easier to reach and move between different levels.

The exterior lounge features several innovations, too: now there is a “double” cockpit. The “classic” cockpit aft features a table that can be fitted with an up-down mechanism, while the second cockpit next to the windscreen offers an area sheltered from the wind and spray. There is a bar to port, and there is a lounge with a large sunpad on the same level as the foredeck.
The helm station features a comfortable helm seat and an innovative floating dashboard. Below deck, there are two cabins: a master cabin forward and a guest cabin amidships, as well as two bathrooms, a galley and a dinette.
The Itama 54 can be equipped with two options of next-generation MAN i6 engines. The standard MAN i6 engines of 730 hp deliver a speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots. As an option, there are also twin MAN i6 engines of 850 hp, which can deliver up to 37 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots.
