Like all the previously launched models, the brand’s largest vessel to date was designed by Officina Italiana Design and maintains the traditions of the superyacht concepts created by Carlo Riva back in 1960-1970s
The ideas offered by the company’s founder about half a century ago were implemented by designers Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design, who worked in close collaboration with Ferretti Group Engineering Department and the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari.

The four-deck motor yacht retains Riva signature features like classic lines, a well-balanced profile, a sporty silhouette. The elegance of the exterior is highlighted by the combination of Moon Grey, London Grey and Bright Black shades with inserts of polished steel and signature aquamarine waterline.
The hull and the superstructure are entirely of aluminium, however with a length of 54 m and a beam of 8.6 m, the internal volume is under 500 GT to make the operation easier.

The Sairu offers over 370 sq.m of exterior space, arranged to ensure the guests’ privacy and optimise access to the water. There is a transformer swim platform and a five-metre pool with sunpads aft. The fold-down bulwarks extend the area of the beach club, as well as the cockpit.
There is a garage for storing tenders and water toys at the bow, as well as a space for open storage, too. There is also a lounge there, while the technical area is hidden from view thanks to the difference in height. There are more areas for sunbathing and relaxation on the upper deck aft and on the sundeck, which is home to a jacuzzi and a bar.
The yacht can accommodate up to ten guests across four cabins below deck and a master suite on the main deck forward, featuring a private lounge, a mini office, a bedroom, a dressing room and two bathrooms. There are five cabins for a crew of 11 and a captain’s suite next to the wheelhouse. There are crew-only corridors and staircases designed to maximise the guests’ privacy.

As always with Riva, the interior is most elegant. Snow-white furniture and fluffy carpets contrast beautifully with the black gloss of the wall panels of Sahara Noir marble (and light Bianco Rhino marble for the bathrooms), complete with natural shades of teak and leather used for the finishes.
The Sairu’s helm station is fitted with dual X-band radar units, Starlink satellite internet, a full ECDIS system, 5G connectivity, three 27-inch touchscreen displays and a 44-inch central stretch monitor. The yacht’s top speed is 18 knots, her range is up to 3500 nautical miles, while four stabiliser fins and two electric rudders make the stay on board comfortable.
The Riva 54 Metri will keep the flagship status till 2028, when an even larger, 70-metre Riva project, is expected to launch.
