The superyacht produced by Columbus Yachts (part of Palumbo Superyachts) has been built in Italy and features a hull of steel and a superstructure of aluminium
Both the exterior and interior design of the superyacht were created by Hot Lab studio. According to the yard, it reflects the "Architecture for Voyagers" fundamentals: “a balanced combination of stylistic, design and functional elements devoted to the full enjoyment of every single moment spent out at sea”.
The naval architecture and engineering were developed by Palumbo Superyachts in collaboration with Hydro Tec.
Just like the top part of the superstructure and the decks’ overhangs, the stern part of the Atlantique 43 is rounded, which is more typical of sailing yachts. In the centre of the beach club there is a pool and a C-shaped sofa facing aft, which can be converted into a large sunpad. The transom is located low above the water, and the side wings increase the area of this space located just 50 cm above the water quite considerably.
The beam of 9.10 m allowed the designers to get a volume of 462 GT, quite decent for a 43-metre yacht. There are four cabins below deck: two ensuite VIPs and two twins. The crew quarters are located forward, including a crew mess and a laundry. The captain’s cabin has been raised onto the upper deck, closer to the helm station.
In addition to the saloon divided into a lounge and a dining area, the main deck is also home to a full-beam master suite forward. Apart from the beach club mentioned above, there is also an open bar aft.
The upper deck offers luxurious al fresco recreation areas, too: one around the pool with sun loungers and sofas at the bow, as well as a dining area aft. The only interior space on this level is a multifunctional upper saloon.
The aft garage on the starboard side can accommodate a tender up to 5.5 m long, and there is an additional garage for the second tender and two jet skis on the main deck forward.
With two Cat C32 Acert engines of 970 kW (1319 hp) each, the Atlantique 43 can reach a top speed of up to 15.5 knots, and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
