The yacht was named after a famous wine and vineyard in Tuscany, located on the sunniest hillside of Tignanello
Solaia’s exterior was created by Espen Øino International, her custom interiors are owed to OLT Design, and the naval architecture was developed in-house.
As the vessel was sold at an early construction stage, the owner was able to make a few changes, including the full-custom interior design. The interior style was inspired by Tuscan landscapes, and the finishes feature a wide use of natural stones like marbles and wood.
Solaia can accommodate up to 12 guests and a crew of 13. The owner’s suite with a large balcony, a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom is located on the main deck.
One of the key features of the vessel is her sundeck of 162 sq.m, which is one of the largest for the size range. In addition to a bar, a kitchen with a grill and a dining area, there is also a jacuzzi for six.
The saloon on the bridgedeck is versatile: it’s home to a piano, a bar, multimedia equipment, which allows one to turn it easily into a music saloon, a cinema or a night club.
In addition to a swim platform the beach club is equipped with a sauna and a steam room. The garage can accommodate a 9-metre vessel and other water gear.
The superyacht will be powered by a hybrid propulsion system, which, according to the shipyard, will be able to lower fuel consumption and reduce emissions, as well as prolong the lifespan of the generators and engines.
