According to the creators, the Atlante Classic 35 is a modern interpretation of a displacement explorer that stands out for reliability, comfort and all-Italian design

Construction on the steel hull previously code-named NB111 started back in 2022. Early in June 2025 a technical launch took place, and a month later after all the trials the first unit in the semi-custom Atlante Classic 35 series was delivered to the owner.

Turkish Mengi Yay Yachts invited renowned Italian designers to work on the project: the exterior and interior design was penned by Paolo Dose and his VYD Studio, the naval architecture was developed by Giuseppe Arrabito and his colleagues from Arrabito Naval Architects.

The experienced owner from Northern Europe was actively involved in the project, and the vessel literally evolved and increased in length and volume from 300 to 330 GT.

“We thank the owners of M/Y Cabana for their incredible involvement and with whom we have forged a beautiful partnership that will continue long after M/Y Cabana leaves on her maiden voyage,” said Paolo Dose. “With the layout of the Atlante Classic 35, we have aimed to achieve a perfect equilibrium within the parameters of length, beam and within a very high volume, usually only available in vessels several metres longer. This allows a harmonious balance between accommodation, living, exterior and technical areas."

The Cabana offers modern and comfortable accommodation for ten guests: in addition to five cabins, there are also a lot of areas for lounging and entertainment, starting from the bar on the sundeck to the beach club aft, where there is also a garage for tenders and water toys.

Twin Volvo Penta D16 850 engines deliver a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 14.5 knots, while the SCR system (Selective Catalyctic Reduction) minimizes nitrogen oxides emissions and makes the yacht compliant with IMO Tier III.

This summer, the Cabana will spend cruising the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, the shipyard is working on the next hull in the new series with a delivery scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
