Wally is getting ready for its debut in the Middle Ease with the wallytender48X  in an outboard version

This versatile 14.9-metre day cruiser has all the chances of becoming a showstopper at the DIBS 2025 (19 - 23 February), due to the Wally recognizable “militarist” style and superb performance characteristics.

The model that is taking part in the show in Dubai is powered by four Mercury Verado R outboard engines of 450 hp each. In combination with a lightweight carbon fibre construction, it results in a high speed of up to 54 knots and rather reasonable fuel consumption. In a cruising mode at a speed of 36 knots the boat powered by these engines can cover 340 nautical miles with a fuel capacity of 2800 L. As an option, the wallytender48X can be equipped with Mercury Racing V8 engines of 500 hp each, which will increase the top speed up to 56 knots.

Just like the wallytender48X with inboard engines, this new version features joystick controls for easy docking.

In her segment, the wallytender48X stands out as the only boat offering fold-down bulwarks that expand the swim platform and come as standard.

Another exceptional feature is a hidden anchoring system concealed beneath a flush-fitting bow hatch, operable via the helm station.

The cockpit features a lot of transformable seats and sun loungers and a well-equipped exterior galley. Below deck there is a spacious double cabin and a head.

One of the common challenges of outboard boats is stern access, as banks of motors often hinder boarding or water entry. To get rid of this issue, Wally has split the four engines and moved them outboard, allowing for central positioning of the retractable hydraulic boarding passerelle, which also serves as a swim ladder and comes as standard. The tilting position of the engines allowed the manufacturer to reduce the boat’s draft to just 70 cm.
