It’s Baglietto’s third order in two weeks: the DOM155 was sold right after the fourteenth DOM133 and third T60 unit

The yacht was commissioned by an experienced yachtsman and long-time Baglietto brand enthusiast. She was designed by Stefano Vafiadis, who has also designed her younger sisters, the 35-metre DOM115 and the 40.9-metre DOM133.

The new build looks as elegant as the entire family: the clean lines are emphasized by continuous stripes of dark glazing, while the superstructure pylons, “piercing” at an acute angle all the decks in the aft section, adding expression to the exterior.

The key design feature is the aft section, conceived as a versatile lounge area with an infinity pool and a large beach club, which can serve as a spa saloon, a gym or an extra garage.

The sundeck of 130 sq.m, where the guests can admire panoramic views by the second pool, is equally impressive.

Drawing on the DOM155 concept of “Roman domus at sea”, the designers thought of smooth transitions from exterior to interior spaces: expansive glazing and numerous sliding doors allow one to adjust the space to different moods and  weather.

The DOM155’s interior is owed to Italian Leonardo Santi, who has already worked on several projects in this line. The layout features two saloons, full-beam owner’s cabin on the main deck, four guest cabins (with a fifth one as an option) and well-planned crew areas.

The model will be powered by twin CAT C32 engines that can deliver a top speed of up to 16 knots. The optimised aluminium hull and shallow draft ensure the yacht’s efficiency and wide range of cruising opportunities.

“We are very pleased with this sale, which comes just a few months after the project was first unveiled to the market earlier this year,” said Fabio Ermetto, Chief Commercial Officer of Baglietto. “The fact that the Owner is already an enthusiast of our brand further confirms the growth path we are pursuing and the strength and credibility of our offering. The DOM155 fits perfectly within this vision, embodying a yacht distinguished by a high degree of customization, exceptional comfort and out-standing volumes. We are fully confident that it will establish itself as a benchmark in the under-500 GT segment.”
