Benetti Project Life

Project LIFE is Benetti’s largest ever engineering-platform-based yacht

This approach allows the manufacturer to focus on design and relevance to the owner’s lifestyle, as the project already boasts the best configuration for the technical aspects, systems and performance. Benetti involved the leading yacht industry players in Project Life. The exterior and layouts are owed to Espen Øino International, the interior concept comes from François Zuretti, famous for many other joint projects with Benetti.

In terms of technology, Project Life features a number of innovative solutions aimed at reducing the environmental impact. The yacht’s high-efficiency steel hull is powered by the diesel-electric propulsion system that can operate both on diesel and non-fossil fuels, including HVO, enabling drastically lower emissions. The latest generation solar panels integrated into the vessel’s superstructure generate clean energy and help recharge the electric tenders and water toys.

One of the Project Life’s key highlights is the beach area of 270 sq.m. This space is open on three sides, which allows the guests to move freely from one space to another, ensuring connection between the beach platform and the enclosed part of the beach club.

Two 14-meter fold-down side wings and a generous swim platform connect the beach club directly to the sea. From above, the beach club is illuminated by the sunlight that penetrates the glass-bottomed pool of 18 sq.m.

This area can also be transformed: in the daytime it is used for swimming and water sports, and at night it turns into a stylish area for entertainment.

Zuretti Design's interior concept eliminates all boundaries between the enclosed and exterior, thanks to the smart colour schemes and elaborate lighting design.

The main deck saloon is 112 sq.m and features floor-to-ceiling glazing. Six guest cabins forward can boast huge windows, too.

The upper deck with a panoramic view is dedicated to the owner. The owner’s suite is 98 sq.m, and next to it there is a versatile space that can easily be adjusted to any needs.

Burgess brokerage house has worked alongside Benetti to achieve the highest level of refinement in the technical, operational, and service-related aspects of Project LIFE. “Increasingly clients are concerned with the holistic yacht design, not only does it need to look great and have a layout than enables a fantastic lifestyle onboard but decisions taken need to be environmentally conscious, the crew operation must be safe, smooth and efficient as well as technical redundancy and resilience needing to be seamlessly integrated into the platform”, said Ed Beckett, Senior Partner at Burgess.
