Venetian shipyard, Ocean King, known for building steel expedition yachts, announces they are nearing completion of the first hull of Ocean King Doge 400 series

The 40.4 m yacht is currently at the final stage of interior furnishing, and her launch and sea trials are scheduled for May 2024. The exterior of the model was developed by Design ALot studio, her naval architecture comes from inNave, while the interiors were crafted by Matteo Gottardo.

The Ocean King Doge 400 is meant for accommodating 10 passengers. The owner’s stateroom with a private study is located on the main deck forward. There are four guest cabins below deck, incluing two VIP suits. There are also crew quarters for seven.

The main deck houses a large saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open lounge with an al fresco dining area. The formal dining room is located on the upper deck, and it leads onto the sundeck with a bar and a pool.

There is a large beach club with two fold-out balconies aft, which provides easy access to the sea. One tender garage is located next to it, while the other tender is stored in the bow section.

Powered by twin MAN engines, the Ocean King Doge 400 can reach a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. The range at 10 knots is 5500 nautical miles, which can grow up to 7000 miles in the economy mode at 8 knots. The second unit of the Ocean King Doge 400 series is already under construction and the launch is scheduled for December 2025.
