ISA Yachts unveils Amarcord 86

In its recently launched Large Yacht Collection, Italian ISA Yachts (one of Palumbo Superyachts brands) keeps developing the idea of an 80-90-metre design platform allowing for maximum customization and meeting individual owners’ needs 

The ISA Large Yacht Collection introduced a month ago is a logical step in the development strategy of the shipyard that has accumulated considerable experience in building large-tonnage vessels. A proven technical platform will allow for the use of existing designs, avoiding the need to develop every subsequent project from scratch, while enabling flexible adaptation to any client preferences in terms of architecture and interiors. 

Following the announcement of the 82-metre Amarcord 82, ISA Yachts unveiled its larger Amarcord 86 project created by architect and engineer Carlo Nuvolari and stylist and designer Dan Lenard.

Just like her predecessor, the Amarcord 86 features sharp, dynamic lines of the steel hull combined with the softer, more fluid superstructure. The massiveness is visually lightened by the extensive glazing and its pattern. 

The vessel with a length of 86 m and a beam of 13.6 m will feature five vessels, each of which is said to have its own “identity”, while their functions can be varied depending on the time of the day and type of activity.

There is a beach club aft, where there are two fold-down balconies in addition to the swim platform. A glass-enclosed corridor running through the engine room leads to the wellness area with a gym and a massage room. On the starboard side amidships, there is another fold-down platform that serves as one more access point to the water and a docking spot for tenders. 

Above the beach club, the main deck features a panoramic glass-bottomed pool that will let sunlight reach the beach area below, creating a relaxing, friendly space for recreation and socialising.

The owner’s dedicated deck will be home to the second pool. In addition to the suite of 100 sq.m, there will also be an aft terrace with a dining area and a large open foredeck that can also be used as a space for doing sport, as a dance floor or a helipad. 

The third floor surrounded by sunpads will be located on the sundeck, complete with a bar and a teppanyaki grill. 

Al fresco dining is also available on the bridge deck, which features a dining area and a lounge with a fire pit for evening relaxation.

In total, the yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins and a crew of 21. 

At a cruising speed of 12 knots, the Amarcord 86’s range will be 6,200 nautical miles, which allows for transoceanic passages.

However, everything described above is far from a final version, as the yachts in the Large Yacht Collection are positioned not as predefined, but as working prototypes for custom design.
