Numarine develops interior concepts for Classic Line explorer yachts

Turkish Numarine unveiled its new line of explorer yachts, the Classic Line, in the spring of 2026. Now, clients have an opportunity to choose from five dramatically different concepts that will make their yacht unique from the very beginning of the design process

The exterior of the Classic Line created by Can Yalman is designed in a classic 1960s retro style, yet subtly reimagined with a modern aesthetic in mind. The naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini combines the autonomy, seaworthiness and reliability of Numarine’s explorers. Construction on two models – the 38XPC and the 39MXPC – is already well underway. 

The innovative concept of interior design personalisation that the yard refers to as Numarine Atelier, is a dramatically new approach to semi-custom design. Instead of a conventional standard interior with an opportunity to make a few minor changes, Numarine offers five absolutely different options on the basis of one technical platform. 

The yard did not impose any constraints on the designers in terms of colour palettes or stylistic approaches, allowing each studio the freedom of self-expression. 

In spite of the differences, all five concepts meet the basic principles of the Numarine Classic Line, which are liveability with a focus on ergonomics; timelessness, as the designs are expected to have an enduring appeal of the classics; understated quality, as the yacht’s premium status is underscored by clean proportions and immaculate craftsmanship rather than pretentious décor; authentic natural materials; and holistic wellness, which implies  mandatory integration of such wellness systems as air purification, circadian lighting, infrared saunas and cryotherapy chambers.

The client will not have to dream up from scratch, as they will be offered ready-made, pre-visualized starting points for further yacht customisation. 

Turkish Ofist came up with a modern take on the superyacht interior integrated into the vessel's complex architecture and featuring a distinct Mediterranean character.

Sturge & Toth (UK / Austria) focused on homey atmosphere, so its interiors resemble luxurious villas. 

Carla Guilhem Design (USA) opted for sculptural forms, botanical motifs and bolder, more contrasting colour schemes.

Hot Lab (Italy) proposed traditional refined Italian design, emphasizing a light palette, unexpected textures and the atmosphere of a luxurious home. 

Vallicelli Design (Italy) embraces an architectural approach that explores the geometry of space, well-aware of the fact that the interplay of form and light can transform the perception of the yacht’s volumes completely. 

Commenting on the launch of the Numarine Atelier, Patrik von Sydow, Numarine’s CEO, noted the following: “We believe this will make the Classic Line relevant to a broader range of tastes and markets while keeping a clear Numarine identity at its core. We are broadening the definition of what a Numarine can be and are so excited for the industry’s reaction this show season”.
