The Deep Blue series by Italian Cantiere delle Marche comprises three models of expedition yachts designed by Horacio Bozzo
With a length of 43.1 m and an internal volume of 499 GT, the Deep Blue 141 is the flagship model of the series. The first Deep Blue 141 superyacht named Acala was delivered in 2022. Construction on the second unit started in January 2024, and now the yard has announced it has sold the third hull.
According to Horacio Bozzo, despite the fact that all the yachts in the series do have some common features, the Deep Blue 141 platform allows one to create unique vessels that can be tailored to individual needs.
The current project is the first collaboration between Cantiere delle Marche yard and Terence Disdale Design for the interiors. The layout of the yacht was designed to provide maximum privacy for the owner and guests. For instance, there are separate staircases for the passengers and crew. The owner’s suite located on the main deck, features a private lounge / studio. There are four more guest cabins below deck.
With a steel hull the Deep Blue 141 is equipped with twin Caterpillar C32 engines, which can deliver a top speed of 15.3 knots. At a speed of 10 knots the yacht’s range is 7500 nautical miles.
