The project, which is an evolution of the yard's popular ThirtySix series, was sold to an American owner just a few weeks after it was unveiled
The Mulder 122 stands out for larger exterior spaces and other innovations aimed at enhancing life on board, including updated glazing in the bow section and other architectural changes.
The length of 37.2 m, the beam of 8 m and the draft of 2.1 m allowed for reconsidering the layout. For instance, Mulder 122 features a new foredeck concept: the wider bow was turned into a lounge with double sunpads and integrated sofas. The beach club has been changed, too: the swim platform has been enlarged, and the staircases leading to it from the main deck have become smoother and more elegant. The garage has become larger, too, and now can accommodate not only a 6.25-metre tender, but also jet skis, seabobs and diving gear.
The exterior, which is in many ways similar to the popular Mulder ThirtySix series that already features nine units, is owed to the yard’s own Mulder Design. The interiors were entrusted to FM Architettura, which promises a highly personalised design created alongside the owner.
The aluminium Fast Displacement Hull Form designed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects combines fuel efficiency of a discplacement vessel with an opportunity to reach higher speed. Twin MAN engines can deliver a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The first unit will be compliant with IMO Tier III and US EPA Tier 4 emissions requirements.
The Mulder 122 offers comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a spacious master suite on the main deck. There are also quarters for a crew of six. The expected delivery date has not been announced yet.
