Over 25 of the country’s strongest sailing crews from different cities of Russia took part in the Championship: Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Vladivostok, Yaroslavl, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Monchegorst, Izhevsk, Sevastopol, Sochi and Krasnodar. There were also yachtsmen from Armenia and Germany
All in all, there were five races. On Thursday, the first day of the competition, no races could be held due to the unstable wind.
On the second day of the competition the weather conditions were challenging, too, with a changeable wind of 4 to 9 knots. As a result of three new races, Valery Kovalenko’s Arttube showed the best results (5 points).
Natalya Kravets’s Matryoshka was second (8 points), and Andrey Pushkin’s Tenzor Sailing Team was third (16 points).
On Saturday the weather cleared up, it was sunny and the temperature went up by a few degrees. Still, no races could be held, as there was no wind.
On the final day of the Championship there was a good wind of 5-8 knots and two races were held.
The winners were awarded as a result of two standings: for Russian teams and for all the teams that took part in the Championship.
Matryoshka team became the winner in J/70 Class in 2025.
Arttube team got two silver models, while PTICHKI Sailing Team got the bronze in the Russian standings, and Tenzor Sailing Team in the overall standings.
