On the first day of the competition no races were held due to the weather conditions, but Saturday was a sunny day with a stable wind of 8-10 knots with gusts up to 18 knots
Vasily Kharabardin’s Sail & Sea team won three out of five races and showed the best result. Anatoly Arnautov’s Atoll Sailing Team was just one point behind: they won two races. The bronze with a four-point gap went to Inna Balashova’s Dolce Vita.
On the final day of the competition the weather was excellent again. Five more races were held with a stable wind of 8-11 knots with gusts up to 18 knots.
Sail & Sea increased the lead over Atoll Sailing Team by four more points and got a confident gold with three impressive victories on Sunday.
The silver went to Atoll Sailing Team, which was not in the top three only in one race out of 10. Dolce Vita team won the bronze with four points behind it.
The third stage in PROyachting SPb Cup in the J/70 Class is scheduled to take place on 1-3 August at Smolenka yacht port.
