Sunreef Yachts, which is known as an expert in building luxury eco-friendly catamarans, is one of the world’s most innovative yacht manufacturers

Introduction of the state-of-the-art robotics at the new Sunreef production facility in Ras Al Khaimah has become a new development stage for the shipyard. The production facility, which meets the highest standards of sustainability and fuel-efficiency was created with the goal of building the newest range of power catamarans named Sunreef ULTIMA. Other 50-70-foot models will be built there, too.

Robotics at the facility in Ras Al Khaimah is used to enhance the process of yacht components production. This modern approach increases the speed and precision of mold production processes considerably.

The robotic systems have been calibrated by the Sunreef Yachts team carefully, which allows them to handle parts up to 30 x 6 metres in size. This level of precision is even higher than that of of CNC machines, because robots can maneuver at greater angles and provide more flexibility.

Although currently robots are used primarily in mold production, Sunreef Yachts is planning to expand the scope of their application and continue enhancing the facility's production capacity.
