The German debut of the largest yacht in the popular Fly series took place at boot Düsseldorf in January 2026

Strengthening its positions in the segment of flybridge yachts, Azimut Yachts crowned the success of the popular series with the Fly 82, joining six other models ranging in length from 16.8 to 23.6 m and standing out for elegant style, unique aft configuration and spacious flybridges.

The Fly 82’s exterior is owed to the yard’s longtime partner, Alberto Mancini, while its interior became Azimut Yachts’ third collaboration with Fabio Fantolino.

As he puts it, the yacht’s interior has become “an elegant stylistic evolution of the earlier Fly 62 and Fly 72 models”. However, there are no clear borders between the exterior and interior here, as Azimut tends to blur them, declaring contact with nature the very essence of the convivial experience on board. The Fly 82 is the first model in Fly series featuring Deck2Deck™ system, which raises the transom to align with the cockpit, transforming it into an expansive terrace facing the sea.

Large windows in the saloon serve the same goal. While designing the interior, Fabio Fantolino did not want to draw all attention to it, but to make it a harmonious continuation of the surrounding natural beauty.

When the doors are open, the main deck transitions smoothly from the cockpit to the saloon, where a low L-shaped sofa and 180°-swivel armchairs offer amazing views of the sea. The ribbed-glass bulkhead, which separates the lounge from the wheelhouse, serves as an elegant background for the Botticino marble table, which is the centrepiece of the dining area.

The guest cabins are located below deck: the full-beam master suite is amidships, the VIP cabin is forward, and there are two cabins between them (one twin and one double).

With a beam of 5.87 m the owner’s cabin is large enough for a walk-in dressing room, a vanity, a loveseat and generous bathroom. One of the highlights is the bespoke fabric-and-metal lamp, which adds a note of color and measured asymmetry to the space.

The colour range of the entire Fly 82’s interior is dominated by natural beige shades, while matte and polished surfaces and earthy orange-brown accents make the spaces visually appealing.

The open spaces feature the same immaculately elegant, understated style: the sunbathing area forward, flybridge with a bar, a dining table with a seating group and the transformable cockpit mentioned above. There is a tender garage below it.

Fabio Fantolino says that he drew inspiration from the nautical lifestyle, which adapts to varying rhythms of cruising and socializing. So the Fly 82’s interiors are not a fixed backdrop, but a dynamic interplay of volumes, spaces, light and materials. Thus, the goal of making comfort and aesthetic expression coexist on equal terms has been achieved.
