The superyacht’s design draws on Baglietto’s signature fast aluminium vessels with classic lines
Francesco Paszkowski Design studio, which worked on the yard’s Fast range previously, has been involved in the creation of the Speedy Bear, too. And it is not only exterior that they were in charge of, but interiors, too, in collaboration with Margherita Casprini.
The Speedy Bear was commissioned by the owner who had always liked Baglietto’s classic aluminium superyachts. Thanks to this the new yacht managed to retain the yard’s heritage but offer new, modern aesthetics.

“Innovation rooted in tradition: this is, in a nutshell, the very essence of this new hull,” said Baglietto's CCO Fabio Ermetto. “She is a yacht that reminds of several historical and yet revolutionary vessels built by Baglietto which marked the history of yachting, from which she has inherited both style and design, while also being a brand-new, one-of-a-kind project.”
The aft section of the superyacht has been made almost vertical, paying tribute to Baglietto’s iconic models. Two fold-out side terraces and the garage door that turns into a swim platform at anchor form a beach club with a pool and a lounge.
Almost all of the flybridge except the aft part is sheltered with a hard top, which allows for using it regardless of the weather or speed.
The superyacht can accommodate up to 10 guests across five cabins, including the master suite on the main deck. While the owner’s suite is located forward of the dining and lounge areas on the main deck, two VIP doubles and two single cabins can be found below deck.
To maintain the title of a fast superyacht, the Speedy Bear has been fitted with twin MTU 12V 4000 M93L engines, which deliver a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 27 knots.
“This is indeed a custom project that exudes classical beauty while also featuring innovative solutions”, said Ermetto.
