The new Oasis 36M featuring exterior design by RWD was created on the basis of feedback from owners and captains cruising other superyachts of the same series
The feedback received from the active owners of Oasis superyachts became the basis for the changes made to the new model’s layout and technical systems. As a result, the focus was on expanding living areas, improving hydrodynamics, reducing noise and vibration levels and implementing enhanced engineering solutions.
The exterior spaces on the sundeck, upper deck and the signature Oasis Deck were expanded, while the interior spaces entrusted to Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, were reimagined with the aim of creating smoother, less noticeable transitions from one area to another.
According to the shipyard, the new shape of the bow bulb reduces hydrodynamic resistance by 10% at a cruising speed of 10 knots, while the fuel consumption remains at no more than 30 litres per hour. The fuel tank capacity was decreased, while the black and grey water tanks were increased, as according to the majority of Benetti owners, the opportunity to spend more time on the water is getting more important than a large range.
Among other highlights of the model, one should mention the fact that she is available with a hybrid propulsion system, SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems to reduce emissions and a new D.gree data-management platform, developed to monitor the yacht's hull and fluid-dynamic parameters in real time and to predict maintenance requirements for engines and generators.
Apart from the Oasis 36M, the Italian shipyard is currently working on its 42.5-metre flagship model, the Oasis 42M.
