The launching ceremony was held at the shipyard’s facility in Viareggio, and the delivery to the superyacht's American owner will take place a little later this year
The new model’s design and naval architecture has been almost totally developed by Overmarine Group team, with a little help in interior design from Alberto Mancini. A powerful bow section, a low superstructure brought aft and the sleek lines of the yacht largely reproduce the traits of the previous models in Mangusta Maxi Open series.
In addition to sun loungers and a jacuzzi, the foredeck is home to a lounge area with a C-shaped sofa and armchairs, while the flybridge, which fits the profile so harmoniously, also houses a little bar.
Five cabins are capable of accommodating up to 11 guests. The full-beam master suite amidships features a spacious dressing area and his-and-her bathrooms. The VIP cabin is forward, and there are two more double cabins between them and one twin cabin with pullman beds. There are also quarters for the captain and a crew of six.
The hull and the superstructure are both made of GRP, but with a single skin composite for the hull and sandwich composite for the superstructure.
The Mangusta 132E will be powered by tree MTU engines coupled with two KaMeWa S63-4 waterjets and one KaMeWa S63-B4, which will allow her to have a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 35 knots.
