Italian Columbus Yachts shipyard, which is part of Palumbo Group, has launched the first hull in Atlantique 43 series, which will soon be followed by two more hulls
The interior and exterior design is owed to Milan-based Hot Lab studio. Thanks to the rounded stern shape, externally the Atlantique 43 is a blend of a motor yacht and a classic sailing yacht. The naval architecture was developed by Palumbo Superyachts in collaboration with Hydro Tec.
The distinctive feature of the Night Fury II is her beach club with a pool and two fold-out terraces, which are just half a meter above the water. There is another pool forward, surrounded by the beach area that boasts great sea views.
There are six cabins on board. Five of them are for the guests, and there is a master cabin on the main deck, featuring panoramic glazing, a walk-in wardrobe and a private aft terrace. The yard offers a five-cabin layout, too. There are five more cabins for a crew of nine.
There is a garage for a 5.5-metre tender aft, and there is more storage space for a couple of jet skis on the main deck forward. With twin Cat C32 Acert engines of 970 kW each the Night Fury II can reach a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots. At the economic speed of 12 knots the Columbus Atlantique 43 has a range of 3400 nautical miles.
