The exterior of the yacht was penned by Omega Architects studio, the interiors with a volume of 760 GT are owed to Luca Dini Design and Architecture, and the naval architecture and efficient FDHF hull come from Van Oossanen Naval Architects
The construction on the yacht started in the spring of 2022. The experienced yacht owners collaborated closely with Heesen engineers and Luca Dini's Design and Architecture team to personalize the project. The goal was to create a cozy, welcoming interior, comfortable for a long time on board.
Special attention has been paid to the height of the seating, the comfort of couches and the practicality of luxurious yet user-friendly materials. Every area of the yacht was designed for maximum comfort and relaxation.
Arcon's team of experts that accompanied the construction process, has optimised the layout: the atrium adorned with John Pomp's hand‐blown glass and hand‐sculpted metal light fixtures, spans three decks and creates a surreal, magical atmosphere. The interior features light woods in velvet finishes, smoked eucalyptus, bronze metal accents, soft fabrics, and leather, while Amazonite marble inlays add elegant accents.
The main saloon is divided into three areas. A fully equipped bronze‐finished bar located near the sliding doors serves both the main deck aft terrace and the lounge area.
The saloon on the upper deck is the hub of social life and guest entertainment. It features a hammered bronze bar, a games table and comfortable seating for watching movies or reading books.
The beach club, illuminated by natural light through two glass portholes, is decorated in a water‐side salotto style.
The sun deck offers a variety of furniture arrangements for various occasions, enhancing hospitality options. The seating area forward is a perfect spot to enjoy the views and the breeze while cruising.
Serena’s five cabins can accommodate 12 guests. The owner’s suite is located on the main deck forward and features a lounge, an office space, and a generous full‐beam cabin with a veranda, two large 'his and hers' dressing rooms and a large bathroom. Below deck there are four guest cabins: two doubles with beds placed athwartship for the optimal use of space, and two twins with additional Pullman beds. Each cabin is ensuite and features unique marble finishes in different colours.
The bridge deck is home to a gym that can be easily transformed into another cabin if necessary.
The state‐of‐the‐art tender and jet skis are stored on the main deck forward, so the crew can launch them easily away from the guests.
“Thanks to the owner's clear ideas on the yacht's intended use, their knowledge of life at sea, and their awareness of their needs made decision‐making easy and serene. Arcon's team is highly experienced, having worked on several complex projects with our shipyard, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and the shipyard. Silvia Margutti of Luca Dini Design and Architecture understands our engineering and construction methods and translates the client's wishes into beautiful designs. Serena is one of the most serene yachts we have ever built," said Eric Molegraaf, Heesen Project Manager.
