Extra Yachts, which is a brand of Italian ISA Yachts, has launched the fourth unit in its 28.5-metre Extra X96 Triplex series
The yacht named Super Mario was sold in April 2023, and has just hit the water.
The exterior lines of the Extra X96 Triplex were created by Italian Francesco Guida, while the interiors are owed to Milan-based Hot Lab studio. The yacht has a three-deck configuration and features two saloons on the main and on the upper deck. Both boast expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing, which is partly openable.
Compared to the previous hulls in the Extra X96 Triplex series, the new Super Mario can boast a sixth cabin on the upper deck and the relocation of the galley to the main deck. Her interiors feature natural oak, black and white lacquered surfaces, grey leather and white Calacatta marble. The yacht is powered by Volvo Penta IPS propulsion package, ensuring a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
Another interesting thing about the Extra X96 Triplex is that with an overall length of 28.5 metres, her hull is 23.8 m long. This means that she is compliant with the CE category for recreational craft under 24 metres, which makes the owner’s life a lot easier thanks to less strict registration and operation regulations. The owner of the fourth hull was introduced by Igor Cherentaev from Aberton Yachts, making it a second sale of the Extra X96 Triplex model for Aberton Yachts.
