The Turkish shipyard’s “largest and most ambitious project to date” Sirena 42M has now entered the final construction stage
The 42.23-metre flagship has already been sold, which highlights the strong market confidence in the brand's vision for the superyacht sector and the growing global recognition of Sirena Superyachts.
The superyacht was designed for long voyages, so a lot of attention was paid to the comfort and versatility of guest areas.
The elegant exterior of the superyacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure was created in collaboration with designer Luca Vallebona. The beam of 8.8 m allowed for an internal volume of 433 GT, which was enough for an impressive number of lounge and entertainment areas designed by Hot Lab. The interior style on board is described as a combination of the Nordic and Mediterranean styles.
Among the main features, one can mention the owner’s suite on the main deck with a private split-level patio, as well as the large beach club with fold-down terraces.
The naval architecture of the fast displacement hull was developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, while the engineering was entrusted to Eureka Yachts. According to the data provided by the yard, with 1,450 hp MAN engines the vessel can reach a top speed of 15 knots. At a cruising speed of 10 knots her range is about 4,000 nautical miles.
“We are incredibly proud to see the Sirena Superyachts 42m enter the water for the first time," said Çağın Genç, CEO of Sirena Marine. "This launch is the result of the dedication, expertise and passion of our entire team, as well as the trust placed in us by the owner. The 42m is much more than our flagship, it represents the beginning of a new era for Sirena Superyachts and demonstrates our ability to design and build world-class superyachts that combine innovation, quality and long-range cruising capability. We now look forward to unveiling her to the global superyacht community at her world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show.”
