The first new Riva 96' Argo Super was launched at Riva’s La Spezia facility in July 2026 and is set to make her official debut in September at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026
According to Riva (part of the Ferretti Group), the logic of the successful Riva 90' Argo series’s evolution called for not only an increase in length but also incorporation of several significant design innovations aimed at enhancing the quality of life on board.
The team of experts from Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee, and Ferretti Group’s engineering department worked hard to preserve such signature features of the brand as dynamic lines, expansive glazing and elegant overall look. At the same time, the new model features a better planned layout, enhanced ergonomics and higher comfort level.
Key changes have probably been made to the aft section of the yacht, where the deck and beach club were completely redesigned. Now there is a built-in refrigerator and extra storage compartments, while the backrests of the two large sofas flanking the outdoor dining table have become adjustable. The lounge has been upgraded, too. The swim platform now features a lift mechanism, which makes it even easier and safer to enter the water. A generous sunpad has been incorporated into the door of the garage that can accommodate a Williams 435 and a jet ski.
One can also sunbathe on the foredeck and on the flybridge, where there is now a bar and signature mahogany-topped tables.
The owners will be offered the Riva 96' Argo Super in two configurations. The first one features a dining area aft and a lounge forward. In addition, the increase of length by 1.8 m allowed for moving a day head to the main deck.
There is a full-beam (6.5 m) owner’s cabin at the bow, featuring vast windows and furniture arranged to amplify natural light and unobstructed sea views.
As standard, there are three guest cabins below deck including a full-beam VIP suite comparable in size to the owner’s. As an option, there is also a four-cabin layout with three VIP cabins and one twin.
The interior of the new boat features “a new language of style”, as the yard puts it, with meticulously selected mirrored surfaces, wenge wood, pale matt oak and polished steel details, “perfectly aligned with the yacht’s elegant and sporty character”.
The first Riva 96' Argo Super is powered by twin MTU 12V 2000 M96X engines of 2,000 hp each, but there is no information about the performance specifications for now.
“For more than 180 years Riva has set the standard for timeless beauty on the water. The new Riva 96' Argo Super carries that legacy forward with a yacht that is unmistakably Riva – more innovative, more liveable and more connected to the sea than ever before”, said Stassi Anastassov, Ferretti Group Chief Executive Officer.
