The yard describes the Ultra G as a “sport fisherman in yacht disguise”, hinting at her impressive power, outstanding performance and a highest level of comfort on board
The inspiration for the Ultra G came from the sportsifhing yachts like the Obsession and the Red Sapphire that the shipyard built in the 1990s. The propulsion of 22000 hp is capable of accelerating this aluminium superyacht with an FDHF hull to a top speed of 37 knots, which makes her one of the most powerful yachts ever built by the Dutch shipyard. Quad MTU 20V 4000 engines combined with Kongsberg S90 water jets can provide a cruising speed of 33 knots, allowing her to make fast passages.
The exterior of the yacht with a low superstructure and sporty lines was developed by Frank Laupman's Omega Architects. The unusual colour of the hull and the superstructure use the contrast of light and dark elements that occasionally ‘break into’ the neigbouring area and bright accents of dark-red lines.
The Ultra G sundeck houses a pool, a bar and lounge areas, and there is another huge lounge with sofas and tables on the main deck aft, which can be used along with the beach club located lower. There is an al fresco dining area closer to the saloon.
The internal volume of 918 GT allows for numerous features. For instance, the master cabin located on the bridgedeck aft has a private terrace with a jacuzzi, while four more cabins are located below deck. This solution allowed one to free space for a large saloon with a bar and a custom-made wine fridge on the main deck, as well as a a lounge and a dining area. Besides, there is a cinema on the main deck forward, equipped with the state-of-the-art technology and a game area. The wellness centre on the lower deck houses a sauna, a snow room and a steam room.
There is accommodation for 10 guests and a crew of 13. It is also known that Vanquish shipyard has developed and built a custom tender for the Ultra G that mirrors her colour and style.
