The new model stands out for a striking modern design, high efficiency, innovative layout solutions and a number of other design and technical innovations
The Ginom 1200 Cabin is the beginning of a completely new direction for the shipyard that had previously specialized primarily in open boats and cabin motorboats.
“With the Ginom 1200 Cabin, our goal was to create not so much a production model, but a technical platform that will allow us to realize our clients' boldest ideas and to scale it to other sizes. It is a logical evolvement of our model range, our vision of the future and a serious statement of the yard's intent to establish a foothold in the larger-vessel segment”, said Ginom owner, Maxim Dubinin.
The powerful bow section, the rake of the windshield and low superstructure, as well as the the profile lines sweeping smoothly from bow to stern are a clear hint at the model's sporty character. According to Maxim, the decision was made to do without outside designers: both the exterior and interior were created in-house.
Huge side windows are probably the model’s key highlight: they not only underscore the overall dynamic of the profile, but also fill the interior spaces with natural light. The open aft section invites you to relax by the water. In addition to the sunbathing area with a sunpad, it can be fitted with a hydraulic swim platform and fold-down bulwarks that will increase the beach area. There is another sunbathing area forward. But there are options here, too, as the yard tends to avoid standard layouts and is willing to build each hull around the owner’s needs and wishes.
Inside, there is a double helm station with sporty seats, a galley to starboard and a dining area to port. Sliding glass doors allow one to unite the saloon with the cockpit, while the retractable glass hatch can fill the interior with fresh air and sunlight.
Below deck, there are two cabins that can accommodate up to four guests, with a master suite forward and a guest cabin on the starboard side. There is also a head with a shower cubicle.
The yard plans to power the Ginom 1200 Cabin with twin inboard engines of 800-1200 hp, though the version with outboard engines will be available later. Depending on the propulsion, the yacht’s provisional top speed is 80-100 km/h (43-54 knots) and a cruising speed of 20-40 km/h (11-22 knots).
“The deep-V aluminum planing hull featuring transverse steps and a running pad performs efficiently across a wide speed range and is capable of reaching a top speed of 100 km/h (54 knots). We have also thought of an opportunity to modify the hull lines based on the vessel's weight and specific characteristics, so we are not limited to a standard layout and can offer extensive customisation options”, explained Maxim Dubinin.
The Ginom 1200 Cabin will feature a length of 12 m, a beam of 3.5 m and a draft of 0.4 m. With a fuel tank of 2,000 L the range will vary 350 to 460 nautical miles depending on the speed mode and propulsion system. The water capacity is 250 L.
In addition to layout and equipment options, there will be a choice of different interior finishes, including natural teak, Alcantara, marine-grade upholstery, as well as an extensive list of optional extras like underwater lighting, awnings, thrusters, etc.
Apart from the version with a hardtop, there will also be a flybridge Ginom 1200 with sportscar-like seats and helm station.
