The Polish boatbuilder showed a walk-through video of its latest Ultima 88 model at an invitation-only event at the Singapore Yachting Festival 2026
The “virtual” world premiere – as the shipyard refers to the exclusive party named Motion 88 – was held at Nebula bar in Singapore ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove for the media, local VIPs, clients and friends of the brand, who were given the details of the new vessel and shown a walk-through video.
In his greeting, Sunreef Yachts’s French owner, Francis Lapp, who founded the company in 2002, mentioned that the company had received “almost 30 orders” since the newest flybridge catamaran’s launch.
Among the clients there is a Spanish tennis superstar, Carlos Alcaraz, who joined other famous Sunreef brand lovers, including Rafael Nadal, who owns a custom Sunreef Power 80, and Robert Lawandowski, Polish FC Barcelona striker with his Sunreef Power 80 Next cat. Alcaraz came to the leading yacht show in South-East Asia to talk about the new model, because he believes she will be “a perfect yacht to unwind and recharge”.
The composite catamaran has a futuristic, slightly aggressive, masculine exterior with dark glossy sides. The planing hulls were optimised for better performance and lower energy consumption. There is a choice of a classic version with twin Volvo D13 IPS 1050 engines and an eco version with hybrid propulsion, complete with solar panels integrated into the hull and superstructure. Based on the information from the yard, the vessel can reach a top speed of up to 26 knots and has a range of about 1,000 nautical miles.
One of the highlights of the model is the aft Ocean Lounge, which features a pool in the cockpit, a hydraulic swim platform right by the water, fold-down bulwarks and integrated aft-facing sofas. There is also an entrance to the garage here, which can accommodate a jet ski.
The Ultima 88 is the first model in the range to feature a flybridge, which is home to a three-seat helm, a dining area and sunpads. There is another open lounge forward between the hulls.
The vessel boasts almost 400 sq.m of usable space. The interior layouts are optional, but the standard version offers four guest cabins inside the hulls and the owner’s suite on the main deck forward.
The interior finishes feature sustainable materials, including recycled plastic and textiles, while vast windows allow for less artificial light.
“Blending the agility of a monohull with the stability, generous living space and shallow draft of a multihull, the Sunreef 88 ULTIMA delivers an exceptional balance of speed, efficiency and refined comfort at sea”, says the yard’s official press release.
