Construction of the vessel with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure formerly known as Hull F81 took Codecasa Shipyards three years
The new build is based on a well tried-and-tested technical platform of the Codecasa 57. The naval architecture is owed to P.L.A.N.A Pierluigi Ausonio, while the “classic and elegant” interiors were created by Tommaso Spadolini Design Studio.
As a result, the shipyard managed to create a yacht with a classic appearance, well-structured spaces and comfortable atmosphere across all four of her decks.
Among the key elements of the design the boatbuilders mention mahogany wood used for the cabinetry and luxurious fabrics like silk and velvet. In addition, high-quality marbles and stones are used for the floors and some finishing details.
The accommodation includes a master suite and five guest cabins, as well as a captain’s and six twin crew cabins. There is also an elevator that connects all the levels of the vessel, ensuring comfort and accessibility on board.
The combination of a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure makes the vessel reliable, safe and optimal in weight. According to the shipyard, the Legacy 4 will remain stable and comfortable even during the most challenging passages, while her Lloyd's Register EMEA certification confirms that the vessel meets the highest quality and technical standards. With twin Caterpillar 3512E engines of 2,375 hp each, the Legacy 4 can reach a top speed of up to 17 knots. At a speed of 12 knots her range is about 5,000 nautical miles.
