The new superyacht was built for the yard’s repeat client and is a logical evolvement of the Project58 unveiled earlier
The new sub-500 GT project combines the shipyard’s heritage with contemporary design, focusing on generous volumes, high performance and extensive customisation possibilities.
The Project53 stands out for dynamic yet elegant lines and an almost vertical bow that gives the yacht a contemporary and assertive profile. Expansive glazing ensures panoramic views and fill the interior with natural light, creating strong connection between the exterior and interior areas.
The Project53’s design focuses on outdoor lounge areas, too: in addition to the sunbathing area with a pool on the sundeck forward, there are also areas for relaxation and socialising, while the beach club is open on two sides and features a pool, a fitness area and a swim platform with convenient access to the water.
The interior design by Enrico Gobbi offers elegant, light, contemporary spaces with a lot of refined details. According to the designers, particular attention was paid to visual and functional continuity throughout the yacht.
The master suite located on the main deck features vast windows. In addition to a generous bedroom there is also an office, a dressing room and a bathroom.
The all-aluminium 52.5-metre hull with a beam of 9.0 m was conceived to achieve an optimal balance between performance, stability, range and operational efficiency. With twin 1,600 hp CAT C32 engines her top speed will be over 16 knots, and her cruising speed is 14 knots. The superyachts in this series are also available with a hybrid propulsion system.
“We are particularly pleased to announce the sale of Project53. It confirms that the market is increasingly looking for projects capable of offering generous volumes and high-level features while maintaining a truly bespoke approach. Project53 embodies this philosophy perfectly: a contemporary, highly recognizable Baglietto, yet one capable of adapting to the individual needs of every Owner," commented Fabio Ermetto, Chief Commercial Officer of Baglietto.
With the sale of the Project53, Baglietto expands its offering in the 50-metre superyacht segment. The first unit is scheduled for delivery in 2029.
