The contract for the construction of the Farah was signed in 2024, and the delivery of the superyacht to her owner is scheduled for 2027

The word “farah” means “happiness, joy, pleasure” in Arabic, and according to Baglietto representatives the meaning of this name “defines the very essence of the yacht”.  The concept of this full custom project is described as “an epicurean vision of life at sea”, but the shipyard underscores the fact that the luxury and wellbeing on board are achieved without any compromise on safety and seaworthiness.

The Farah’s exterior and interior design are owed to Matheus Farah & Manoel Maia Arquitetura and Fernando de Almeida Yacht Design.

The first images of the superyacht show the cubism of her geometry (a vertical bow, clean profile of her glazing), as well as her non-standard colour: both the steel hull and the aluminium superstructure are painted distinctive metallic dark grey.

The upper deck, which is the same length as the second one, is home to a helipad, while the elongated uncluttered aft section of the main deck is the beach area. There is a large pool in the middle of the beach area with a see-through side facing a broad swim platform. The bulwarks of the cockpit are finished with teak and make one suppose that there will be fold-down platforms here.

With a length of 49.7 m, a beam of 9.1 m and a draft of 2.7 m, the internal volume of the vessel is a little under 500 GT. Baglietto has not yet provided any information about the passenger capacity, describing only the general mood of the interior, conceived around a “warm modernism” philosophy featuring contemporary, minimalist spaces, natural materials like wood and leather in warm tones of brown and sand, enriched with subtle golden accents and a soft, enveloping lighting scheme.

Twin Caterpillar C32 engines will deliver a top speed of 16 knots. Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto, believes that Farah is “a unique and outstanding project, which once again highlights Baglietto’s distinctive expertise in delivering fully custom yachts, combining exceptional build quality with the ability to interpret and fulfil the most sophisticated requirements of highly experienced Owners”.
