To create the new line, Numarine has involved the team that it has been successfully working with for years: the exterior of both yachts was entrusted to Can Yalman, the naval architecture is owed to Umberto Tagliavini, while the basic interior concept was offered by Hot Lab
According to the yard, the Classic Line is a response to the clients' growing interest.
“In an industry often driven by fast-changing trends, the Classic Line offers a more enduring perspective: yachts designed not just for today, but for lasting relevance. We are really excited to see how the industry reacts”, said Patrik von Sydow, who came back to the position of CEO at Numarine in December 2025.
For this very reason, there is nothing ultramodern about the two new yachts’ exterior: they feature classic profiles, retro style superstructures and radar masts.
“After years of working on highly optimised, contemporary explorer yachts, there was a desire to reconnect with more timeless principles of naval design. At the same time, we sensed a growing desire for this direction, perhaps a need for a more reflective, balanced approach to yachting. One that moves away from excess, instead emphasises harmony, connection with nature, and a more timeless, almost romantic idea of life at sea,” said designer Can Yalman.
The project is based on such values as “proportion, clarity and elegance”, thanks to which Numarine wants to apply its extensive experience in the construction of expedition yachts and introduce a new layer of design and lifestyle expression. No technical details (except the length of the vessels) have been revealed yet.
The official press release says that the 38-metre 38XPC features a traditional layout with a focus on proportions and a strong connection to the brand’s heritage.
The larger 39MXPC, which is a metre longer, features a “reimagined” aft section with a jacuzzi and an open terrace close to the water, which create a more laid-back, Mediterranean-style atmosphere on board, reflected in the letter M in the name of the model.
“This Classic Line represents a natural and strategic evolution for Numarine. It allows us to broaden our design language and reach a wider audience while staying true to the core principles that define the brand: efficiency, capability, and usability,” believes Patrik von Sydow.
