Nuvolari Lenard studio has developed the concept for the exterior styling and interiors of the vessel, which will have a number of innovative features and will be powered by a diesel-elecgtric propulsion system
With a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure Project 146 stands out for sleek, dynamic lines of the profile and showcases an elegant exterior “reflecting the owner’s vision and requirements”.
The client is represented by Moran Yacht & Ship brokers, who took an active part in drawing up all the technical specifications and will be supervising the entire construction process.
Rather few details of the vessel have been revealed so far. According to the shipyard, Project 146 will offer the guests spacious outdoor entertainment spaces, a dive center and an extensive beach club with plenty of water toys. The upper deck will host a touch-and-go helipad.
The hybrid propulsion system will be energy and fuel efficient. It is also planned to fit the yacht with a heat recovery system that uses thermal energy from the generators to heat the water in the pools, water boilers and the deck washing system, which will help to reduce fuel consumption even more.
At present there are three more superyachts being built at the CRN yard in Ancona: the 67-metre CRN 143 Project Maranallo, the 70-metre CRN 145 Project Thunderball and the 85-metre CRN 144.
