Both experienced yachtsmen and newbies took part in the competition organised by PROyachting
The weather conditions were really challenging on Saturday: it was pouring with rain, and there was a changeable wind of 8 knots with gusts up to 12 knots. Only one race was held.
Sovfracht Sailing Team showed the best result and came first. Self crew was second, and the third place went to Lazy Jibe.
On Sunday the participants had a chance to check their skills in various weather conditions: the wind changed from 8 to 20 knots, and it rained from time to time. Six more intense races were held.
Sovfracht Sailing Team managed to win the stage with an advantage of just 0.8 points. They came first in three races out of seven. Self with 11 points came second, and the bronze went to Lazy Jibe with 22 points.
In 2025 the series includes three stages scheduled to take place from June to September. Competitors may join one of the stages or take part in all of them and fight for the victory in the season.
Every stage includes two racing days, as a result of which the three strongest teams are awarded. At the end of the season, the best crew will get the Cup.
