The formal launching ceremony of the first 38.76-metre Custom Line Navetta 38 took place on 31 January at Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona. The superyacht hit the water in front of the owner’s family and the shipyard employees

Custom Line Navetta 38 appeared as a result of a joint effort made by Ferretti Group Product Strategy Department chaired by Piero Ferrari, and the Engineering Department. With a length of 38.76 m and an 8-metre beam this yacht with a displacement hull can boast a total volume of 299 GT, as well “innovative exterior and interior design and outstanding seagoing performance”.

The exterior styling comes from Filippo Salvetti, while the interior design was developed by ACPV ARCHITECTS led by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel. Custom Line Atelier worked in close contact with the owner and the design team to take into account all the owner’s preferences and make the yacht a true portrait of his personality.

The shipyard describes the exterior design of Custom Line Navetta 38 as “classic and timeless”. Her elegant lines are enhanced by generous glazed surfaces of dark glass, which contrasts beautifully with the snow-white superstructure, light grey hull and a dark hardtop.

The interior design is aimed at using maximum space of the entire available surface and making it highly functional and flexibile. Natural light is abundant thanks to huge floor-to-ceiling windows, which create visual continuity between external and internal spaces and a feeling of harmony with the sea.

The boat has all the amenities for comfortable accommodation of up to 10 guests. The main deck houses a 40-metre master apartment, and there are four guest cabins on the lower deck. There are also crew quarters for up to 7 people. By the way, crew and guest flows on all four decks are separated to ensure maximum privacy for the guests.

“Seeing a new Navetta enter the water is a powerful emotion. As it is to go aboard and experience the level of comfort offered by this outstanding ship. As a great fan of the Custom Line world, I can assure you that Navetta 38 is seriously exciting and represents a new way to enjoy the sea, featuring elegant materials and interior and exteriors spaces that offer unprecedented liveability. She is extraordinary but in a natural and harmonious way, with all the grace of a true thoroughbred. I’m sure she will be adored by all owners looking for a superior yachting experience,” commented Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.
