The Papa Joe is the seventh hull in Diamond 44М series. She was conceived and built as a “second home” for the shipyard’s long-time customer and his family
With a length of 44.06 m and a beam of 9.6 m the vessel is the largest in Class category of Benetti composite yachts. The classic exterior design was developed by Giorgio Maria Cassetta, and just like other yachts of the series the Papa Joe features impressive exterior and interior spaces.
The superyacht can accommodate 12 guests in five cabins, including a generous master suite and an adjacent office area with a large desk. There is an area dedicated to the captain on the upper deck, while a crew of seven can be accommodated comfortably in five more cabins. The guests and crew footpaths are almost completely separated, which ensures a high level of privacy on board.
The interior of the Papa Joe was developed by Benetti’s Interior Style Department in active collaboration with the owner, who opted to use rosewood Santos in the finish, whose characteristic veins create a special contrast with the surfaces of oak.
The atmosphere of tranquility was created mainly due to the use of light and neutral colours for the soft furniture, with some pops of turquoise and brown. A special accent is the smoking table of amazing dark-red Rosso Levanto marble with white veining on the upper deck.
In addition to a spacious formal dining room on the main deck, which is ideal for traditional family meals, the cinema room in the skylounge with its custom-made comfortable sofa is very likely to become another gathering place for the whole family. After watching a movie the sliding doors can be opened to enjoy the superb sea view.
The bow section of the upper deck offers everything one needs for recreation in the sun: there is a large sunpad, a U-shaped sofa and a custom hydromassage pool. The second area by the water is the transom beach club with a comfortable sofa and a bar. There is also a spacious garage for a 6-meter tender and two jet skis aft.
Twin Man engines of 1400 hp each can accelerate the Papa Joe up to a top speed of 15 knots and provide a range of 3800 nautical miles at cruising 14 knots.
