The first full-electric catamaran will be presented in the Open version, but the shipyard is ready to offer a version with an enclosed upper deck, too
No harmful emissions, silence, advanced solar-powered technology – the yard from Fano, Italy, promises that its catamaran will feature it all. The first hull will be presented in an open version meant mainly for a warm climate. The upper level of the catamaran resembles a flybridge and boasts an area for lounging and entertainment, as well as dining.
The main deck is home to an almost 50 sq.m saloon with large windows, a well-appointed galley and a dining area. As for the exterior recreation spaces, there are about 80 sq.meters of them at this level. The cockpit offers an al fresco dining and lounging area, and there is a panoramic lounge on the foredeck.
The first Silent 62 3-Deck hull offers five cabins for the guests, and there is one more for the crew.
The catamaran stands out for a super-efficient hull shape developed in-house, and an innovative solar electric drivetrain with no fumes, emissions, or noise. The vessel is equipped with the latest liquid cooled batteries with higher energy density, greater capacity and faster charging rates.
The Silent 62 3-Deck features a solar array of 16.8 kWp and a 286 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a range extender of 145 kW peak. The catamaran is powered by twin 180 kW electic motors that deliver a cruising speed of 6-8 knots and a transatlantic range.
The Silent 62 3-Deck catamaran can boast a small draft of 1.24 m, as well as a variety of layout options that allow for various arrangement of four to six cabins. The upper deck with an area of 60 sq.m is also available in three different configurations: an open sky lounge, a closed sky lounge, as well as a closed owner's suite variation.
The shipyard assures that all versions are available with a “front exit” on the main deck, which allows guests to step onto the foredeck right from the main saloon.
