The Numarine 27XP, unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festical 2025 as a project, evoked a lot of interest, with five units sold ahead of the world premiere and three units currently in build
The owner of the first 27XP is the yard’s repeat client, who had previously owned a Numarine 22XP and wanted a larger yacht. The yacht was delivered in Istanbul and is going to spend the first season cruising the Greek islands.
The yard refers to the 27XP model as a result of “natural evolution” of the successful 26XP platform. Compared to the predecessor, the new model offers more interior and exterior spaces, while retaining all the benefits of XP series of the Mediterranean explorers.
The first unit can accommodate eight guests across four cabins, features a full-beam flybridge and extended exterior areas, although a five-cabin layout is available, too. There are quarters for a crew of four, too.
Both the exterior and interior design of the model are owed to Can Yalman, while the naval architecture was developed by Umberto Tagliavini. The 27XP has such distinct features of the XP series as large expanses of glazing, a vast flybridge, rather rugged lines and an overhang, protecting the cockpit lounge. By the way, the cockpit can be united with the interior space of the saloon thanks to large sliding doors.
The equipment of the model is different, too. The yard believes that the 27XP is the next-generation explorer yacht largely thanks to the new hybrid energy architecture, Mk2 Super Silent Pack, designed in collaboration with Sleipner. Built around a 48-volt energy architecture and integrated Hybrid Power Center, the system combines a 92.8 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery bank with 5.6 kW of solar generation, shore power input and intelligent load management. According to the yard, operating at higher voltage improves efficiency across all onboard systems, reduces energy losses and enables quieter, more stable electrical performance throughout the yacht.
With a length of 26.97 m and a beam of 6.9 m, the internal volume of the Numarine 27XP is 150 GT. The first unit is powered by twin MAN 560 engines, delivering a top speed of up to 13.5 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and range of up to 2,200 nautical miles at a speed of 8 knots.
“The 27XP builds upon the success of the 26XP platform, refined through direct feedback from experienced owners and captains, combining the comfort of a much larger yacht with the efficiency that modern owners increasingly demand," said Patrik von Sydow, CEO of Numarine.
The Numarine 27XP’s official premiere is scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.
