UAE-based Gulf Craft announces the sale of the first 49-metre Majesty 160 superyacht

The project of the composite superyacht was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2022, and now there is a customer for the vessel. The manufacturers hope that the Majesty 160 will be able to repeat the success of the Majesty 175  flagship, where some of the design solutions were borrowed, but reconsidered with the goal of maximizing living spaces on board. At present, the Majesty 175 is the largest production yacht with a composite hull ever built in the world.

The Majesty 160 was designed by Italian Cristiano Gatto Design, and her naval architecture is from Van Oossanen Naval Architects. With a beam of 9 m and a length of 49 m the gross tonnage of the yacht is 498 GT.

Elaborately planned layouts, ample spaces, modern interior style and expansive glazing are characteristic of the guest spaces of the superyacht. The master suite is located on the main deck forward. In addition to a retracted balcony, it also features a large ensuite with a shower and a bath, as well as a dressing room. Apart from the master, there are six more guest cabins and five crew cabins for nine people.

The sundeck houses an infinity pool forward and modular furniture, which allows one to reconfigure the space for different occasions. The project renderings reveal an open helm station on the sundeck, too, but it is not yet clear whether the vessel will actually have it or not. It is also still not confirmed if there will be solar panels on the hardtop.

One of the highlights of the Majesty 160 is the beach club, which can increase in size substantially when at anchor thanks to the fold-out terraces and the bathing platform. There can also be a gym, a beauty corner or a recreation area with a bar and a lounge hidden from the sun.

The superyacht is to be powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M87, which can propel her up to 19.5 knots. Her cruising speed is 12 knots.

The yacht is expected to be delivered to her owner in spring 2026.
