The keel laying ceremony of the 57-metre yacht currently known as Project Evita has taken place at Heesen’s facility in Oss (Netherlands)
The unit code-named YN 21557 is the second in Heesen’s new 57m Aluminium FDHF series. The first one in the series was the Santosha, delivered to her owner in October 2024.
With a length of 56.7 m and a generous internal volume of 780 GT, this yacht has rather a small draft, which makes her perfect for navigation in shallow waters. Fast Displacement Hull Form allows her to reach the speed of 22 knots, which is impressive for the size.
“To achieve such a high top speed, the yacht must be lightweight, so we are naturally building in aluminium – something that we here at Heesen have elevated into an art form over the years,” said Peter van der Zanden, General Manager of Design and Development at Heesen Yachts. “The vertical bow guarantees a long waterline length for maximum efficiency and speed potential, while the aft end is composed of complex sweeping curves.”
The contemporary exterior, crafted by Omega Architects, features a striking silhouette with an elongated profile and a distinctive scoop-shaped stern. The interior concept was created by British Harrison Eidsgaard studio. Project Evita can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins. There is a central elevator that connects all three decks. Another Project Evita’s standout feature is the pool on the main deck aft. There is an ample garage next to it for storing an array of water toys.
Project Evita is scheduled for delivery in Q2 2027. The construction of the yacht started on spec, so she has not been sold yet.
