If the first unit proves to be a success, it is very likely that the whole lineup named after the Greek god of wine, will be extended to 40 m
For now work on the Dionysos 35 at Soyaslan Yachts yacht is proceeding on schedule, and the delivery of the first unit is scheduled for August 2024, so it is quite likely that we will see the yacht at autumn shows.
The concept and the exterior of the vessel were developed by Calm Design studio, and her naval аrchitecture comes from Soyaslan Design. The appearance with a lot of sharp, angular shapes definitely makes the boat stand out, and so does the bow with two windows, raised to the upper deck level, the trawler-type wheel-house glazing and the vast sundeck.
However, the main feature of the yacht is that it was initially conceived as a fully wheelchair accessible yacht. For this reason, all the gangways and cabins are wide and spacious, and there is a lift that connects all the levels, which is quite rare for this category.
On board the Dionysos 35 there are cabins for 10 guests and 10 crew. In addition to ordinary guest cabins there is also a master suite, a VIP cabin and an “office cabin” in the bow section, which can be used both for recreation and work. It is probably one of the most attractive spots on the yacht not only due to the large windows, but also because of large fold-out lateral balconies.
The sundeck is great both for quiet relaxation and noisy parties. There is a large sunpad on the bow, some space for sun spots aft, and a bar and a dining area for eight in between them under the shade of a hardtop. One can also arrange a gym here, or throw a party with a DJ, as a DJ booth is available, too.
Other exterior areas with sofas and tables are on the foredeck and on the main and upper decks aft. There can be a beach area on the bathing platform if you add sunloungers and armchairs here.
When at anchor the guests of the yacht can relax in complete scilence, as the boat is powered by the energy accummulated by the solar panels integrated in the hardtop.
It is expected that twin Cummins QSM11-M engines of 610 hp each will accelerate this yacht with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure to a maximum speed of 12.5 knots. The range is 3450 nautical miles at cruising 10 knots.
At present the yacht is listed for sale, asking €12 700 000.
