Finnish Nautor Swan known as a manufacturer of luxury sailing racing and cruising boats has announced that it has signed contracts for the construction of four new hulls

In August 2024 Italian Sanlorenzo Group signed an agreement to buy Nautor Swan. The process of integration of two brands will take four years and is expected to create finally create a major player in the high-end nautical segment in the end. At present it is hard to say whether the impressive sales figures are the result of the recent merger, but the fact remains that all the four hulls are Swan Maxis, which are the largest Nautor Swan yachts.

Two of the new hulls belong to the 35.6- metre Swan 108 series. This model became the evolution of Maxi series thanks to the changes in her exterior styling made by Micheletti + Partners. The first Swan 108, a yacht named Fancy, was delivered in the autumn of 2023. Now contracts have been signed for the construction of the second and third hulls.

This cruising model meant for eight passengers is versatile, and there are some racing equipment options available for those who want to take part in regattas. At the same time, the yacht offers "double the space than on comparable Maxis," according to the yard.

Two more hulls are the 28-metre Swan 88 (third in her range) and the fifth 31-metre Swan 98. The naval architecture and exterior design of both models are owed to German Frers.
