At a press conference on the new brand launch, the yard's COO, Federico Rossi, said that the key goal for Nolimits is to fill in the “gap” in the market for transoceanic performance boats with increased fuel efficiency and a sporty style, but stay under 500 GT.
According to Federico, Nolimits yachts will “match the character of an explorer with the charm and style of a superyacht", while the experience and know-how of the Viareggio-based yard will allow the brand to develop successfully.
At present the Nolimits range comprises five models: NL30, NL37, NL37+, NL45 и NL45+, where the plus stands for an extra deck, where there will also be a skylounge with a panoramic view.
The common features of all NL models are expansive glazing, multi-level areas in the cockpit, a spacious beach club and a “best-in-class” sundeck with a pool and numerous possibilities for relaxation and entertainment. Besides, some models may have a VIP cabin on the upper deck, which will add some special features to them and make them more appealing to the guests.
The use of aluminium is explained not only by the goal to reduce the overall weight of the vessel, but also by the fact that it is recyclable. It is already known that Nolimits superyachts will be powered by powerful engines and generators and will feature a double stabilisation system with four fins, which can enhance operation both at anchor and underway, as well as a solution that minimizes the level of noise and vibration.
The yachts that were designed for transatlantic crossings comply with all the charter market requirements and will be certified for both the Panama and Suez canals.
