The 40.8-metre superyacht, BO116, which is another Oasis 40M model, hit the water at Benetti’s Livorno shipyard
Built for a Canadian owner the BO116 superyacht with a planing GRP hull features exterior design from British RWD studio and boasts modern interior design from Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture. Her naval architecture was developed by Benetti in collaboration with Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture studio.
The 16th superyacht in the popular Oasis family features some changes that were made in accordance with the owner’s requests. Thus, the BO116 sundeck has been equipped with a Dj console and a customized lighting system for parties. The gym area has been transformed into a wellness suite, and now there’s a shower and a Turkish sauna in the owner’s stateroom. Instead of a classic dining area on the main deck there is a vast bar with backlighting.
The superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests across five cabins. There are also crew quarters for five. Just like the previous Oasis 40M models, the key distinctive feature of the superyacht is Oasis Deck, or an aft deck, which transforms into a beach club with direct access to the water and a sea-view terrace.
Thanks to twin MAN engines, the new Oasis 40M is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots and long cruises at 11 knots with a range of up to 4000 nautical miles. Besides, the yacht is fully compliant with IMO Tier III exhaust gas emissions regulations, which makes it suitable for commercial use.
Benetti is to deliver the superyacht to her owner in the spring of 2024.
