Fifth Amels 60 Limited Editions hits water

The yacht that was started on spec, found her owner in October 2021 at an early construction stage, which enabled the customer to make a lot of individual customizations

Now the fifth hull is about to enter the final outfitting and sea trial stages, and is scheduled for delivery in the spring of 2024.

The Amels 60 Limited Editions series, unveiled in 2019, is a technical platform for building 60-metre superyachts. The distinctive exterior design with trapezoidal side windows was crafted by Espen Øino. The naval architecture was developed by Damen Yachting, while the interior for every yacht is absolutely individual. The series implies a high level of customization and a relatively fast delivery. 

In this particular case the period from the announcement of the fifth hull sale and the launch took less than three years, which is not long at all for a yacht of this kind. It has not been revealed yet, who designed the interior for the fifth Amels 60 Limited Editions. The yacht can accommodate 12 guests, the owner’s suite is located on the main deck, and there are quarters for a crew of 14. 

The Amels 60 Limited Editions features a hybrid propulsion system, which provides a top speed of 15.5 knots and reduces fuel consumption and emissions.
