The first hull in the long-anticipated Amels 80 series has been launched in Vlissingen in the Netherlands
Construction on the 80-metre five-decker began on spec early in 2022, and the vessel found the owner just half a year later. The Amels 80 is the largest model in Limited Editions range, whose exterior was designed by Espen Øino, and the interiors are owed to Dutch Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design studio.

One of the Amels 80’s standout features is the 6.5-metre pool on the aft deck. Its bottom has some transparent segments, allowing natural light to reach the beach club located a level lower. The beach club has fold-down side balconies and a round lounge with a bar in the centre.

As a result, there is a private, semi-enclosed lounge with easy access both to the water and to the wellness area, including a spa, a sauna, a hammam and a gym. The garage below deck can carry an electric tender with a fast-charging station and lots of water toys.

There are seven cabins for 14 guests. The owner’s suite is located on a dedicated deck and in addition to the cabin, it features an office, two bathrooms and a private lounge.

At the very top of the yacht there is a sundeck of 200 sq.m, which is far larger than a yacht of this size can normally offer. It is home to a jacuzzi surrounded with sunpads, an al fresco dining area and a bar. The Amels 80 offers numerous customisation opportunities, from deck layouts to the colour of the hull and superstructure.

The first Amels 80 with internal volume of 2157 GT is powered by a hybrid propulsion system, delivering a top speed of up to 16.5 knots. At a cruising speed of 12 knots the yacht’s range is 5000 nautical miles. Three more Amels 80 units are already in build.
