The second superyacht support vessel from the new YS53 series has been launched at the Damen Yachting build facility in Antalya
The owner, who was present at the launch ceremony, announced the name of the vessel, Five Oceans. Yacht Support series includes support vessels for superyachts, capable of carrying extra equipment and staff, helipads, water toys and a lot more.
With twin Rolls Royce MTU engines with a total of 6000 hp YS 53 can reach up to 19 knots and has a range of 5000 nautical miles. The Five Oceans can accommodate eight passengers and a crew of 10 plus captain. The spacious open aft deck can carry a few tenders and is equipped with a 15-tonne crane for launch and recovery.
The 53-metre Five Oceans features a sky-blue hull with a bright orange stripe, which reminds one of the owner’s passion for motor racing. Now the Five Oceans vessel is ready for the final stages of her build, which will take another couple of months, before she is finally delivered to the owner.
