The Pa’lante is the first yacht the yard has delivered in 2026 and is another representative of the 55-metre series of steel Smart Custom yachts built on the basis of a pre-engineered platform with a high level of customisation
After successful sea trials in the North Sea, the superyacht left the Netherlands and headed to the Mediterranean to meet her owners. She is expected to spend her first season there and make her world debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 in autumn.
The exterior of the superyacht is owed to Omega Architects, while the interior was entrusted to Luca Dini Design & Architecture. With a length of 55 m, a beam of 9.6 m and internal volume of about 760 GT, the Pa’lante can offer comfortable accommodation for 12 guests across six cabins and can enter most of the Mediterranean marinas.
Of all the Pa’lante’s features that we know of now, one should definitely note the main saloon with a lounge and a dining area, the sundeck with a pool and a bar, the skylounge connected to the aft terrace and the beach club with a swim platform.
The steel hull has been optimised for long-range passages, and the twin MTU 4000 M63 engines can deliver a top speed of 15.5 knots and ensure a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots. Thanks to the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, the yacht is compliant with IMO Tier III emission regulations.
The yard underscores the fact that the Pa’lante reflects Heesen’s recent strategy of speculative build. As opposed to totally custom projects, the yard starts construction of a vessel based on a proven platform before she is sold, and the future owner can adjust the design and layout to their preferences when they join the process. This approach allows for considerably shorter delivery time, while allowing for customising the vessel.
“By continually refining a proven steel platform with operational data, we optimise both efficiency and reliability”, said Jeroen van der Meer, Heesen CEO. "Such a rigorous approach guarantees uncompromising quality while significantly reducing delivery times."
