The Comfortably Numb is a unique project with a fully custom interior, naval architecture and engineering, which combines CRN latest innovations and the interior and exterior design from the legendary Nuvolari Lenard duo
The owners are a family of expert sailors, who wanted a displacement superyacht with a set of characteristics that are quite unusual for this category: reduced draft for cruising in the shallow waters of the Caribbean, generous ceiling heights and plenty of space both in the guest and crew areas.
The superyacht that is 60,33 m long, 10,55 m wide and has interior volume of 1114 GT features five decks and can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 13. The Comfortably Numb stands out for her top speed of 25 knots, which is really high for a displacement superyacht. This kind of performance is the result of thorough materials research and reduced weight. One of the examples is the use of lighter cork beneath the teakk deck instead of a higher-density alternative. Besides, CRN has devised a system of extremely precise strain gauges to constantly monitor the vessel’s weight and centre of gravity via Wi-Fi.
Inside the Comfortably Numb there is a powerful sense of spaciousness: the light-filled interiors with floor-to-ceiling windows establish constant visual contact with the sea.
